Covid Prototols

COVID Protocol Update
As we face a new surge in COVID cases and hospitalizations, we are returning to higher precaution levels at Peace. We are hopeful this surge will be briefer than past ones so we can return to our more recent levels of precaution soon.
In the meantime…we will continue asking everyone on campus to wear their masks and practice physical distancing in worship…as well as in small groups and outdoors again. Due to our masking protocols, food and beverages at fellowship time after worship (as well as any other gatherings) will be temporarily suspended. We will also be suspending in-person Communion on Sunday mornings for the time being. Worship will include less singing again for a time and will emphasize quiet reflection and instrumental music.
As always, you are encouraged to follow the public health guidance that most pertains to your health and vaccination status…as well as consulting with your own doctors about what is right for you. If you feel sick, please stay home. The current variant seems easily mistaken for allergies.
Small groups that gather on campus should be 10 or fewer, and should continue to submit their requests and gathering plans through the Regathering Task Force (emailing or at least 5 days before gathering).
If there is anything we can do to offer you spiritual care or support as this challenging time continues, please let us know.
