This draft is currently open for feedback before it is voted on by the ELCA Churchwide Assembly, so our conversation may also lead to feedback that may impact the final form of the statement when it comes to a vote! If you want to start reading now, you can find the draft statement and additional resources here: https://www.elca.org/Faith/Faith-and-Society/Current-Social-Writing-Projects/Civic-Life-and-Faith.

We look forward to the conversations to come!
