Lord of Life Lutheran Church welcomes their new intern, Jason Mills. Vicar Jason is a third-year student from United Lutheran Seminary in Pennsylvania.He is a life-long Lutheran. Just six days after high school graduation he began a 21-year adventure with the United States Navy, from which he retired last summer.
How did a Pennsylvanian seminary student end up in Texas? Well, Vicar Jason’s daughter Ava (14) lives with her mother and stepfather in a little town off 290, called Burton. Since they moved to Texas five years ago it has been a goal of Vicar Jason’s to join them as quickly as possible. Having completed his residency requirements for Seminary this past semester, he is happy to now consider himself a Texas resident, along with his kiddo.
