In-person worship suspended

Current Pandemic Response at Peace

In light of the Austin area’s return to stage 5 precautions, the Regathering Task Force has made the following protocol updates, which have been reviewed and approved by the council.

1) We will invite our worshipping community to connect online via the live stream (available at the Peace facebook page and on peaceaustin.org). A team of ten or fewer worship leaders will lead the live stream from the church campus.

2) Any groups meeting on campus will be asked to keep group sizes to ten or fewer. Masks will be required for all events on the church campus. All are reminded to review self-screening criteria and not attend in person events if showing any symptoms of illness.

We continue to ask everyone to follow local public health guidance and avoid all gatherings at this time if they are unvaccinated.

Protocols will be reviewed when we appear to be approaching stage 4 infection and hospitalization rates.
