We passed a major hurdle on July 24 when our Watershed Mitigation Fee waiver went before City Council, and we received a unanimous vote to get it passed! The waiver of this fee saved our project nearly $275,000 and we couldn’t be more grateful.
With this obstacle out of the way, we will be moving forward to have the site plan approval in the next few weeks and then on to permitting and obtaining vendors to get started. We anticipate a groundbreaking in the fall.

Many thanks to all the people who made this happen especially District 6 Council Member Krista Laine and her staff, Lynne Williams and the HomeAid staff and our many HomeAid partners, as well as our own project team and the people of Peace.
