We have come to our second pandemic-bound journey to the cross. Though this time will, yet again, not be what we hoped…we know God will lead us on this path. One of the traditional Lenten disciplines is reading scripture. For our Community Connections Bible Studies during Lent, we will turn our attention to some of the lesser-read, small books of the New Testament. Some of these are NOT included in the 3-year lectionary cycle, and some only appear for a month or so every three years. Perhaps there is a reason why these books get less attention, so let’s find out together!
These studies are discussion based and you can join them at any time and fully participate. So grab your favorite beverage and join us at 1:00 PM on Zoom or Facebook.
Each session will begin with readings of each passage to study followed by a time to reflect. Then we will explore the passages, think about how each passage relates to our lives, and consider how we can apply these insights to our lives in the coming days or weeks.
