Adopt a Garden Plot

Did you notice our landscaping improvements last spring? Did you see some donated annuals as you entered the parking lot? MANY THANKS to those who have worked on beautifying the Peace grounds to date.
As Spring 2018 approaches, consider giving these folks a hand by adopting a garden area on our church grounds as we re-vitalize our ADOPT A PLOT for 2018 program:
  • Dividing up the areas makes the job much easier.
  • You can do “more” or “less” at your own pace.
  • You can work alone or with partners or as a family to adopt and maintain a plot.
  • Gardening can be therapeutic as well as an opportunity to connect with nature.

We have identified 32 plots with 14 already assigned to caretakers. Some have already been worked up and planted and simply require weeding and watering (9 of the 18 plots remaining), some have just been started, and others are long range recommendations. If you need some help, we have several volunteers who are more than willing to work with you.

To ADOPT A PLOT sign up at the table in the Narthex or email or call Becky Reinhart (

If your thumb is not quite green, ANOTHER OPTION is to support the program with a cash or check donation. Simply label your donation ADOPT A PLOT and place it in the offering plate. Any help is certainly appreciated.
