The True Meaning of the Christmas Tree

Performance: Sunday, December 17 at 9:45 AM.

Rehearsal: Saturday December 16 at 3:30 PM, followed by cocoa and caroling.

This year’s Christmas program will take place on Sunday December 17th, during the Sunday school hour. We will be performing a play called “The True Meaning of the Christmas Tree.” Everyone is invited to participate, whether they be kindergartners, highschoolers, or adults! Having some adults and older kids mixed in always helps things run smoothly and makes it extra fun. The play is pretty simple, as the participants will be asked to either read, or play the part of a Christmas ornament. We’ll have only one rehearsal, the Saturday before, on December 16th, at 3:30pm. For those of you who come by, you can stick around afterwards for some hot chocolate and caroling! The play has some music in it that we’d like to sing through, and afterwards anyone is welcome to join us as we go to Avalon Memory Care to sing come carols for the residents at 6pm. Hope you can participate!
