Food and… The Texas Ramp Project
After the service, this Sunday, plan to stay for the potluck and learn about the Texas Ramp Project. The mission statement for The Texas Ramp Project is “Building Freedom for the Homebound”. Come and learn about this 501(c)3 program. Who gets a ramp? Who builds them? What about materials and tools?The TRP is not affiliated with the ELCA but it has strong connections to all Lutheran synods. We may discuss how this meshes with the ELCA Disability Ministry, which has a much broader scope. Learn how you might help with this project. HINT: A lot of the work is done before a ramp is actually built and continues after the ramp is completed.
