Board Ministries

The purposes of the Board of Evangelism & Parish Communication are:

• Bring the Gospel to the unchurched
• Enlist of all of God's people in the work of spreading the Gospel
• Deepen the faith and active ministry of the members of this congregation
• Present the public a Christian Image which will reflect favorably upon the work of Christ and of the congregation as God's instrument
• Publicize the work of the congregation

Some of the specific ministries of the Board of Evangelism & Parish Communication oversees are:

• Greeters
• Visitor Follow-Up
• Information Classes and encouraging new membership
• Activity Packets for Children (for use during worship)
• Internal Education on Evangelism
• Promoting Evangelism among the congregation via events like "Bring a Friend" Sundays & Neighborhood Door Hanger Campaigns
• Advertisements, articles, brochures
• Website
• Internal publications like the newsletter (Messenger),the calender & the directory
